A rare pair of early-2000s Ralph Lauren Blue Label leather trousers from the label's celebrated 2004 Western collection. Crafted from beautifully distressed olive leather, they feature sculptural panelled construction and intricate tonal embroidery inspired by traditional Western tooling — hallmarks of one of Ralph Lauren's most sought-after Americana collections.

Cut in a flattering low-rise silhouette, the supple leather has a rich, naturally worn patina that enhances the character of the piece. Delicate embroidery frames both hips before reappearing at the lower leg, while the panelled construction and whipstitching create a streamlined, flattering line.

A note on the fit. There is slight give in the leg but none at all in the waistband, so the waist is a hard limit at 80cm / 31.5" around. Within that they best suit an XS to a small M, or an AU 6 to a small 10, and they sit particularly well on wider hips. Please go by the measurements below rather than the size on the tag.

Handling. Leather cannot be spot-cleaned or laundered, so marks are permanent. Please keep fake tan, body oil and makeup away from the waistband and thighs, avoid sitting on light or dye-transferring surfaces, and don't wear them in the rain.

Measurements — taken flat, in centimetres. Waist and hips are half measurements — double them for the full way round.

Care while on loan

Clips, tape and pinning into seam allowance only. No pins through the face of the fabric, no stitching, no alterations. Keep fake tan, body makeup and heavy fragrance off the cloth. No smoking, eating or drinking while it's on. Please don't wash, spot-clean, steam or dry-clean anything — I handle all the cleaning myself, and it's already covered in your loan fee. Return it in the garment bag it arrived in.
Shipping and returns

Sent tracked and insured anywhere in Australia, with a prepaid return label included in your loan fee. Lodge it over the counter on or before your return date and send me the tracking number. A $50 per day late fee applies after that. Collection in person isn't available. International loans are arranged case by case.
How a loan works

Four days, for photography only — not events. Apply with your shoot dates and I'll confirm availability, then send you the Archival Loan Agreement and an invoice for the loan fee and damage cover. Where a bond applies it's paid by bank transfer, and if you've borrowed from me before it's waived.
