An exceptional archival Christian Dior Boutique t-shirt from John Galliano's early-2000s era at the house.
Cut in a fitted, feminine silhouette, the top features an all-over photographic leopard print combining multiple feline markings across the body. A large “5” is picked out across the chest in shimmering crystal embellishment, while the reverse features “1947” in matching crystals — a recurring Galliano-era reference to the year Christian Dior presented his revolutionary first collection.
The collision of animal print, sparkling crystal embellishment and Dior house symbolism is quintessential Galliano — irreverent, glamorous and unapologetically maximalist. A particularly striking and unusual example of the collectible embellished Dior jersey tops produced during his tenure.

A note on the fit. Labelled 40, but it runs considerably smaller than that suggests — the chest measures the same as pieces here labelled FR 36. The jersey has stretch, and it best suits an AU 6–8, or an XS to S. Please go by the measurements below rather than the size on the label.
Measurements — taken flat, in centimetres. Chest is a half measurement — double it for the full way round. The jersey has stretch, so it will go beyond these figures comfortably.

Care while on loan
Clips, tape and pinning into seam allowance only. No pins through the face of the fabric, no stitching, no alterations. Keep fake tan, body makeup and heavy fragrance off the cloth. No smoking, eating or drinking while it's on. Please don't wash, spot-clean, steam or dry-clean anything — I handle all the cleaning myself, and it's already covered in your loan fee. Return it in the garment bag it arrived in.
Shipping and returns
Sent tracked and insured anywhere in Australia, with a prepaid return label included in your loan fee. Lodge it over the counter on or before your return date and send me the tracking number. A $50 per day late fee applies after that. Collection in person isn't available. International loans are arranged case by case.
How a loan works
Four days, for photography only — not events. Apply with your shoot dates and I'll confirm availability, then send you the Archival Loan Agreement and an invoice for the loan fee and damage cover. Where a bond applies it's paid by bank transfer, and if you've borrowed from me before it's waived.
