An exceptional archival Christian Dior Boutique t-shirt from John Galliano's early-2000s era at the house.
Cut from black stretch cotton jersey in a fitted silhouette, the top is intricately embroidered with sprawling florals, trailing vines, ornamental motifs and whimsical fish detailing in rich shades of red, gold, pale blue and green. Curved J'ADORE DIOR lettering is embroidered across the chest amongst the elaborate decoration.
The extraordinary embroidery transforms the simplicity of a classic black t-shirt into something almost jewel-like — a beautiful example of Galliano's playful, maximalist vision for Dior at the beginning of the 2000s.
A rare and highly collectible piece of Galliano-era Dior, and it comes complete with its original hang tag and Christian Dior ribbon label card.

A note on the fit. Cut tight and close to the body. The GB 10 on the label reads larger than it wears — with the stretch in the jersey this best suits an AU 4 to a small 8, or an XXS to a small S. Please go by the measurements below rather than the size on the label.
Measurements — taken flat, in centimetres. Chest is a half measurement — double it for the full way round. The jersey has stretch, so it will go beyond these figures comfortably.

Care while on loan
Clips, tape and pinning into seam allowance only. No pins through the face of the fabric, no stitching, no alterations. Keep fake tan, body makeup and heavy fragrance off the cloth. No smoking, eating or drinking while it's on. Please don't wash, spot-clean, steam or dry-clean anything — I handle all the cleaning myself, and it's already covered in your loan fee. Return it in the garment bag it arrived in.
Shipping and returns
Sent tracked and insured anywhere in Australia, with a prepaid return label included in your loan fee. Lodge it over the counter on or before your return date and send me the tracking number. A $50 per day late fee applies after that. Collection in person isn't available. International loans are arranged case by case.
How a loan works
Four days, for photography only — not events. Apply with your shoot dates and I'll confirm availability, then send you the Archival Loan Agreement and an invoice for the loan fee and damage cover. Where a bond applies it's paid by bank transfer, and if you've borrowed from me before it's waived.
