A beautiful archival Christian Dior Boutique t-shirt from John Galliano's era at the house.
Cut from soft ivory cotton jersey in a fitted silhouette, the top features a vivid botanical composition of chrysanthemums, trailing foliage and abstract florals in shades of orange, crimson, pink, turquoise and acid yellow. Sequins and small glass beads are scattered amongst the flowers, adding subtle sparkle and dimension to the painterly print.
The asymmetric layered neckline is finished with delicate cream openwork trim, creating an almost deconstructed lingerie-inspired effect, while a contrasting red Dior signature is printed at the lower hem.
Romantic, feminine and characteristically eclectic, the piece beautifully captures Galliano's approach to Dior in the 2000s — combining traditional florals with unexpected colour, embellishment and playful construction.

A note on the fit. Labelled FR 38, but it wears much smaller than that — the jersey has slight stretch, and it best suits an XXS to a small S, or an AU 4 to a small 8. The body is a normal width while the length is cropped at just 40.5cm, so it sits high on the waist. Please go by the measurements below rather than the size on the label.
Handling. The sequins and glass beads are attached individually and the openwork neckline trim is fine, so please avoid anything that could catch — jewellery, watches, bag straps across the chest.
Measurements — taken flat, in centimetres. Width is a half measurement — double it for the full way round.

Care while on loan
Clips, tape and pinning into seam allowance only. No pins through the face of the fabric, no stitching, no alterations. Keep fake tan, body makeup and heavy fragrance off the cloth. No smoking, eating or drinking while it's on. Please don't wash, spot-clean, steam or dry-clean anything — I handle all the cleaning myself, and it's already covered in your loan fee. Return it in the garment bag it arrived in.
Shipping and returns
Sent tracked and insured anywhere in Australia, with a prepaid return label included in your loan fee. Lodge it over the counter on or before your return date and send me the tracking number. A $50 per day late fee applies after that. Collection in person isn't available. International loans are arranged case by case.
How a loan works
Four days, for photography only — not events. Apply with your shoot dates and I'll confirm availability, then send you the Archival Loan Agreement and an invoice for the loan fee and damage cover. Where a bond applies it's paid by bank transfer, and if you've borrowed from me before it's waived.
